SUNDAY RAGCHEW PREAMBLE
SUNDAY RAGCHEW PREAMBLE
LAST UPDATED 3-8-11
Good Morning Everyone. This is Southcars, the South Coast Amateur Radio Service VOIP Sunday Ragchew.
This net will be meeting every Sunday morning at 1000 Eastern Time (1500Z winter, 1400Z summer) for the purpose of a moderated ragchew and open forum. During the course of this net, and as time allows, we will also offer to those in attendance amateur radio related equipment items for sale, purchase or swap. A participating station need only get the attention of the NCS and request permission to make their listing or respond to the open call for such listings by the active NCS.
This net follows the guidelines and procedures set forth by Southcars and FCC Part 97 rules and regulations regarding a non-commercial involvement, and in keeping with good amateur radio practice. Any listings obtained on today's net will be forwarded for HF airing for wider coverage availability. Anyone wishing to make a listing outside of this net operation may do so by emailing Rick at ND4Z@YAHOO.COM.
Your net control for this session is _______. My name is __________ and I am located in the city of ________, where it is currently a temperature of _________ .
Prior to starting this morning, is there any emergency traffic or anything out of the ordinary that needs to be handled at this time. If so, please come aboard now.
Are there any birthday stations??
During the course of our discussion this morning, the topic for the day is ___________________ (must be related to amateur radio).
