VOIP PREAMBLE.

This is Southcars, the South Coast Amateur Radio Service. This net is conducted under the guidelines of the Southcars organization, and further follows the rules outlined in FCC Part 97 and good amateur practice.

This SCARS server is supplied by the “The Great Lakes Reflector System (provided by KB8ZGL)” and all contacts, and requests for information will be handled through the Net Control. When contact with another station is made, please move off this system and establish your contact direct so the net may continue. In fairness to all, "Short Time" stations will not be recognized, as such. All stations will be worked in the order in which they checked in.

AM Connection: This is the Saturday AM Connection. The purpose of this net is to bring our members as well as non members together for informal updates, fun and comradary. Amateurs around the world are welcome to join in.

Eurasia Connection: This is the Eurasia Connection. The purpose of this net is to provide a convenient time frame for participation by European and Asian Stations. However, all amateurs worldwide are welcome and encouraged to join in.

Pacific Coast Connection: This is the Pacific Coast Connection. The purpose of this net is to provide a convenient time frame for western and Pacific Coast stations to join in. However, all amateurs worldwide are welcome and encouraged to join in.

Global Family Hour: This is the Southcars VOIP Global Family Hour. The intent of this net is to encourage members, their families, and their friends worldwide to enter into an informal social net highlighting 3rd party traffic through the member’s station. Our program for this Saturday evening is___________________ .

Sunday Ragchew: This is the Sunday Morning Ragchew. The purpose of this net is to bring our members and nonmembers together in a relaxed and informal atmosphere to enjoy a moderated ragchew. Our topic this morning to start things off is ____________________.

TNT Open Forum: This is the Thursday Night Thematic Open Forum, or TNT for short. This net is conducted to provide information pursuant to Amateur related subjects, and/or other areas of general interest to those participating. All are encouraged to participate and ask questions of our guest speaker or speakers.
